status: 19.11.20 - 10:00 am
We are officially starting the 2020-21 winter season estimated on 19 December 2020 with a series of safety requirements
Our supreme assumption is to operate responsible with respect to our guests, staff and the whole population. Therefrom we decided due to the current situation to delay the winter season opening to the 19.12.2020.
The situation in Nauders am Reschenpass is stable and Nauders has been mostly spared from the spread of Covid-19.
Preparations for the upcoming winter season are in full swing, meaning that we can start the winter season optimally prepared with all precautions, as soon as the current situation allows it. Our winter and ski operations officially start on 19 December 2020.
Every step is an adventure
For years, Nauders’ development has been characterised by sustainability. Away from larger crowds, our region captivates with an extensive ski resort, 3-country mountain panorama and the best air quality.
Nauders offers a spacious and unadulterated landscape of more than 90,300,000 m². Thanks to the moderate number of guest beds, it offers maximum space for a holiday at a distance.
The wide range of winter services together with the perfectly developed infrastructure are the ideal conditions for holidaying at a “distance”.
Since the health and safety of our guests, staff and residents is our top priority, all regulations relating to Covid-19 will be strictly adhered to.
For the upcoming winter season the entire Nauders on the Reschen Pass region has decided on clear regulations and clearly defined measures.
We will do our best to ensure that you have a safe and relaxing holiday in Nauders. We have summarised the most important information, guidelines and measures regarding COVID-19 for you here.
What measures have we taken?
General information and organisation
With the purchase of a ski pass, we will give you a multifunctional cloth that can be used as a mask to cover your nose and mouth. You will also find a folder in the Nauders Safety Package that contains the applicable regulations and rules of conduct in the event of a suspected case. Wearing mask that covers your nose and mouth is mandatory in the accordingly marked areas!
These will point out our Covid-19 guidelines at the entrances to transport facilities, mountain restaurants in the Nauders ski resort and the sport shop and ski depot at the Nauders Cable Car Centre. Furthermore, we will regularly provide you with information in several languages by means of announcements in feeder lift entrance areas and ticket sales offices.
Regardless of the current legal regulations, we will organise queueing areas technically in a way that avoids groups of people standing together where possible.
We have installed adequate hand disinfection facilities at our cable car facilities and mountain restaurants in the Nauders ski resort.
Mountain lifts and ski busses
To offer you the usual comfort and a high level on safety for the ascent from the valley-station to the ski area, you have the possibility to use the 6-place cable car Bergkastel from 3 persons or more in the family circle or circle of friends. For foreign presons (singles, couples, ...) we guarantee the maximum occupancy of 4 persons and do not use - the legal possible maximum occupancy of 6 persons.
We will disinfect the Bergkastelseilbahn cable car several times a day. To do so, we deploy a long-lasting, floating mist of droplets using a special cold fogging device. This eliminates 99.99% of viruses, bacteria and spores on the treated surfaces within one minute. The active ingredient leaves no residue behind after use, is 100% biodegradable, non-toxic, pH neutral and not harmful to the skin or eyes.
Disinfection measures on surfaces and in rooms are also carried out daily in the sport shop and ski depot at Nauders Cable Car Centre, the first aid stations/ski resort medical port and also in toilet facilities and lift cabins at the Nauders ski resort. We also use the aforementioned cold fogging machines for this purpose.
Mountain restaurants in the Nauders on the Reschen Pass ski resort
We observe the minimum distancing prescribed by the authorities for tables and seating facilities in mountain restaurants. Furthermore, we have installed new partitions in the seating areas and adapted and expanded hygiene measures in the free flow areas.
In order to guarantee compliance with adequate safe distancing, we will – regardless of capacity – also limit entry to our mountain restaurant facilities.
All our food and drink menus can be viewed online or using a QR code directly in the mountain restaurants and feeder cable car cabins.
With our "Sitzfix" you have the possibility to reserve your seat/desk at one of our Berggenuss Restaurants in advance online - so your seat is guaranteed. More informations about the "Sitzfix" follow under sitzfix.nauders.com.
Musical performances at restaurant and mountain lift bars will be exclusively in the form background music. Tobogganing evenings will take placeo in strict compliance with the safety precautions.
Nauderer Bergbahnen AG is specifically stepping up a range of cleaning activities. For example, this applies to cleaning and disinfecting tables/mountain restaurants as well as handrails, door handles and sanitary facilities. We have also shorted the intervals for filter cleaning in the ventilation systems.
Due to the new design of the Bergkastel panoramic restaurant from 11.12.2020 at the self-service area, the restaurant gives you a comfortable atmosphere and enough space for your lunch-break. The renovation of the self-service area with old-forest elements and a new arrangement of the different sectors of the food distribution ensures a smooth flow.
