You love nothing more, in the warmer seasons, than packing a rucksack and slipping on your walking shoes?

Walk away from daily life, gaze into the distance up on the mountain and breathe in the pure, fresh Alpine air. Is this how you prefer to spend your days? Then Nauders has a very special jewel waiting just for you. Or rather, not just one! Because the long stretched-out network of hiking and mountain paths that crosses the Tyrolean holiday region, offers new “high” points with every step.

Discover the magic of slowing down the pace, over 300 kilometres of well-marked trails, admire the Alpine flora and fauna and leave your troubles far behind in the valley. In Nauders everyone finds their own personal favourite terrain – no matter whether they are a seasoned hiker or an occasional walker, a family or a mountaineer.

Impressive views

The most beautiful peaks in Nauders on the Reschen Pass are not just reserved for seasoned professional hikers. The picture-perfect Tyrolean mountain region offers hikes and tours of all levels of difficulty. So less fit walking fans can also explore their holiday home on foot. After all, Grandma, Grandad and the children also enjoy an exciting family holiday hike!

Whether an easy, medium or hard walk, whether passing by lakes, along mountain ridges or crossing borders, you’ll find it difficult to find this much wonderful hiking anywhere else! How about the panoramic high trail to the border triangle border stone for example? A hike on the Kaiserschützenweg? Or a border trail on the Plamorterboden Alpine bog

Where tired legs like to rest

Even the most beautiful hike needs an enjoyable rest break. Take a quick breather, enjoy the view and savour the breathtaking surroundings with all of your senses, from the best seats in the Tyrolean mountain house. This is particularly effective in the numerous huts and mountain restaurants. Allow yourself a hearty ‘Brettljause’ (a wooden plate of ham, cheese, salami etc.) on the sun terrace and give yourself some time to chat a while with the welcoming hosts. This is what memorable hiking days in Nauders look like!

And in the evening? Tired hiking legs recover best in cosy accommodation. Have a quick look now at the great offers for hikers!
