1 – Gueser Kopf
- Start: Gueser Kopf, 2,750 m
- End: Slope No. 19
- Ski route: Marked and only secured against avalanches, not groomed or controlled.
Wide slopes with dreamlike powder passages and spectacular panorama.

Below the Gaisloch lift – for adventurers.
- Start: Gaisloch top station, 2,300 m
- End: Slope No. 14

Runs beside slope No. 25 – the steepest descent in the ski area.
- Start: Zirmhang / beginning of slope No. 25 – 2,600 m
- End: Slope No. 5
- Ski route: Marked, avalanche-secured, not groomed or controlled.
Directly on the Austria–Italy border, through untouched snow and wide slopes.
- Start: Almlift top station – 2,600 m
- End: Almlift valley station

At the summit of Tscheyeck, your dream day begins: with every turn into the powder paradise, you glide past romantic mountain huts.

From Gueser Kopf, the highest point in Nauders, into wide powder slopes.
- Start: Gueser Kopf – 2,750 m

Gentle slopes and light forests – ideal for powder fans.
- Start: Beginning of Gampen descent No. 12 – 2,270 m
- End: Above Piengalm into slope No. 12
- Ski route: Marked, avalanche-secured, not groomed or controlled.
Varied terrain with natural flow.
- Start: 100 m below Zirmbahn top station – 2,500 m
- End: Ganderbild valley station
- Ski route: Marked, avalanche-secured, not groomed or controlled.
Leads down to Stieralm.
- Start: Middle of slope No. 25 – 2,500 m
- End: Stieralm

Variant Valdafur (NEW from 2025/26)
- Start: Tscheyeck top station – 2,750 m
- End: Tscheyeck valley station
- Variant: Wild descent in open terrain, not marked or controlled.
Freeride Equipment Check
Before heading into open terrain, carefully check your equipment. These essentials are indispensable:
- Avalanche transceiver (always switched on and tested before the tour)
- Shovel (stable and lightweight)
- Probe (for pinpoint location in snow)
- Helmet & back protector
- Mobile phone (charged, emergency numbers saved)
- First aid kit
- Suitable freeride skis or snowboard
- Avalanche airbag (recommended)
- Weatherproof, breathable clothing in layers
Safety Tips for Freeride Adventures
- Buddy system: Never go alone – safety only exists in a team.
- Avalanche report: Always check before each descent → lawine.at
- Weather check: Follow forecasts, ask locals if unsure.
- Full equipment: Transceiver, shovel, probe, phone are mandatory.
- Group ability: Match skills within the group.
- Unknown terrain: Hire a professional freeride guide.
- Other riders: Keep track of who’s on your route.
- Distances: Ride one by one, even on “safe” slopes.
- In doubt: Skip critical descents in poor visibility or unsafe conditions.
