The Boundless Gravel Event in Nauders

25–27 September 2026 – The late-summer sun makes the larch trees glow. And we’re celebrating a gravel festival with crystal-clear panoramic views on spectacular gravel routes on the Reschen Pass.

We don’t know exactly how many kilometres of gravel tracks there are around the Reschen Pass. But there are certainly several hundred in the Tyrolean Oberland and the South Tyrolean Vinschgau Valley. What we do know for certain, however, is that these tracks lead to some absolutely stunning vantage points where you’ll be left speechless with amazement. What’s more, for those who know the region well, this is the most beautiful time of all – when late summer is slowly giving way to autumn. The larch needles turn yellow, the air becomes crystal clear, and the weather gods grow gentle and relaxed. It’s a brilliant time to be outdoors – the perfect time to explore a special gravel trail on your gravel bike at the foot of King Ortler. That’s why we want to celebrate the Golden Days with you at precisely this time.

GOLDEN DAYS GRAVEL GIRO

The Golden Days Gravel Giro is a community ride with no timing on the extraordinary panoramic trails at the Reschen Pass. It’s up to you how far and how high you want to push yourself. There are three routes for racking up kilometres and metres of elevation gain. But also for taking in fabulous sights that you won’t forget in a hurry. The routes lead to top-notch photo spots, stunning mountain views, rustic huts, across lush alpine meadows and past Lake Reschen, which glistens turquoise in the sun.

The short route

approx. 50 km and approx. 1200–1500 metres of elevation gain

This short border crossing links the most beautiful spots around the Reschen Pass between Nauders and Lake Reschen. You can enjoy a leisurely ride along the lake, but there’s also a bit of climbing involved. It’s definitely worth it, though, for the views you’ll be rewarded with. It really does encompass everything the region has to offer.

The middle section

approx. 70–80 km and approx. 2,000–2,500 metres of elevation gain

It really is a proper exploration of the region. Naturally, the route takes you from Nauders to Lake Reschen, which you get to admire from above on more than one occasion. What’s more, its little brother, Lake Haider, also makes an appearance. A brilliant route!

The long journey

approx. 100 km and approx. 3,000–3,500 metres of elevation gain

All In for the really fit girls and lads! This grand tour really does include everything the Tyrolean Oberland and the Upper Vinschgau Valley have to offer. Mountains, lakes, alpine pastures, apple orchards – and all topped off with panoramic views that are simply in a league of their own. It doesn’t get any better than this!

GOLDEN DAYS GRAVELDURO

Brand new and a bit mad, but this format is just right for Nauders: in this team relay, a gravel biker races up the mountain on gravel tracks and hands over to an enduro rider, who then tears back down to Nauders along the spectacular 3-Country Enduro Trails. Times are recorded at the bottom, and the fastest team wins. A challenging race that showcases what Nauders has to offer all cyclists: namely, the full package across all disciplines.

| GOLDEN DAYS GRAVEL COMMUNITY

The Golden Days event area is the central meeting point in the village of Nauders. This is where the community gathers to catch up. At the Expo stands, you can find out about the latest trends and test ride the hottest new gravel bikes. This is the start and finish point for all the hands-on events, and in the evening everyone gathers round the campfire to celebrate. This is where everyone meets up for the ride-out. After a day’s sport, you can sink back into a deckchair, happy and content. Here, you can treat yourself to a post-ride beer, catch up with friends and simply enjoy yourself, listening to the beats the DJ is pumping out across the site. Chilling out on the festival grounds – that’s all part of the Golden Days experience too.
