Farmhike Stables - Novelles

The starting point is the church in the centre of Nauders. A little above, on the Parditschweg, the Forest trail no. 17 begins at the so-called “Einsiedel”. Approx. 150 metres above the avalanche dam, turn right towards Novelles. At the end of the forest trail you come to a tarmac road and after a few minutes you reach Novelleshof (not managed). Above the farm, a steep trail (No. 18) continues across mountain meadows towards Stables. After crossing the Wassertal, you follow the narrowing path through the forest to the rustic mountain farm on Stables. This is located at 1,833 m and is the highest permanent settlement in the area. From here you hike via Trail 18a through the calm Wassertal back to the village.
