Maria im Schnee - “Mary in the Snow”
The 74 m2 chapel “Maria im Schnee” at 1,925 m above sea level, beside the Gepatschhaus, on plot 170, was built by members of the German Alpine Association, Frankfurt am Main Section in 1894/95. The chapel’s setting in the Tyrol’s most beautiful pine forest, 200 metres above the reservoir is a wonderful surprise for any visitor.
