Tierlehrpfad zur Fendler Alm

Starting from the Fendels mountain railway car park, you can take the Sattelbodenbahn chairlift for a comfortable ride up to the Sattelklause, a summer retreat situated at an altitude of 1,870 m. There’s already plenty on offer for children here!
The nature trail focusing on local wildlife is situated on the way to the Fendler Alm and features numerous information points. The walk begins behind the forest playground, where you follow the forest track to the right. The gently ascending path can also be managed with a pram suitable for rough terrain and is therefore ideal for families with younger children. A few places to sit break up the walk, leaving time for a short pause to take in the views. At 1,970 m, you reach the Fendler Alm, where a refreshing stop is guaranteed, and even here a small playground has been set up. After the descent back to the Sattelklause, don’t miss the chance to whizz down into the valley on a mountain cart!
